Special Guest Vendor: Alan Salzman will be selling orchids and bringing an assortment of his unusual mix collected over many years.  Alan has been growing and collecting orchids for the past 35 years.  He is a member of Genesee Regional Orchid Society (GROS) and is strongly committed to orchid education and the sharing of ideas amongst orchid enthusiast.

11:00AM:

Alan Salzman will discuss “Potting media and its affects on Orchids.” Hear tips for preparing media from a grower who has studied soil science and its effects on orchids for many years.  Jim Marlow will be assisting Alan during his talk.   A question/answer session is included in Alan’s talk.

1:00 PM:

Jim Marlow will conduct a Q & A on growing orchids.  This will be an interactive discussion focusing on questions asked by the audience.

3:00 PM: Drawing for a blooming miniature Phalaenopsis Taisuco Micky.   Be sure to get a Raffle Ticket when making a purchase from either Alan or Jim for a drawing of a free orchid. You do not need to be present for drawing to win.

Menu: Hot Roast Beef Sandwiches and Hotdogs along with Baked Beans and other ‘Sides’ from Mike’s Kitchen.  Coffee, tea, soft drinks and of course deserts served though out the day.
