Blooming size plants available with 4-6 bulbs. Very unusual flowers that last about 6 wks. May bloom this summer or next. Leaves can reach 3-4 ft in length. Plants potted in moss mixture in 6 inch baskets.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: New Guinea. This orchid was originally discovered in Dutch New Guinea (now Irian Jaya) at an undisclosed location. Plants have since been found near Jayapura and along the Siriwo River. Habitat elevation was not reported, so the following climate table and cultural suggestions are based on an estimated elevation and should be used somewhat cautiously until actual elevations are known. -- Source: Charles Baker
