Details:
ORIGIN/HABITAT: Ecuador and Peru. This orchid, which may epiphytic or terrestrial, is found on steep slopes in extremely wet cloudforests at 3950-7850 ft. (1200-2400 m). In Ecuador, it has been found in Tungurahua Province near Baños at 5250-6550 ft. (1600-2000 m), in Canar Province a little east of Paute at 2600 ft. (800 m), and in Napo Province north of Baeza at 5250 ft. (1600 m). In Peru, plants have been found in the department of Amazonas near Bongara at 5900 ft. (1800 m) where they were growing on steep slopes covered with decomposing organic litter. -- Source: Charles Baker
These plants will grow better with cooler night conditions (55deg) but will do okay at higher temps.
