If you are traveling from the North, that is from Rochester, from the intersection of Ballantyne Bridge and Scottsville Road, set your odometer.  Exactly 2.5 miles from the intersection of Scottsville Road and Ballantyne Bridge you will see our sign which simply says "Marlow" 2272 as shown above.  Traffic travels quickly on Scottsville Road so go slowly and just past the sign you will see the driveway.  It's a left turn so be careful when maneuvering.

Update June 2007!  Our sign has been destroyed by a passing car whose driver fell asleep at the wheel.  We are in the process of replacing the sign and will privide an update as soon asa the new sign arrives.

Just next door to our house is Doubling Hills Country Inn.  This is a good landmark and a fine B&B as well.  If you plan on being in the area you may contact Barry and Kathy at  585-889-2117 for information on availability.

This is the entrance gate to our house and greenhouse.  We like growing hosta and have quite a few varieties as you can see from this photo.  If you plan to visit we ask that you call call first to make sure we are home.  If you are in the area and just want to try your chances ring the bell at the gate first and then follow the path back to the greenhouse.  We have a small dog named Taz who may greet you upon arrival.  She looks like a fox and keeps track of everything so you will probably hear bark.  She is a LollyPop Farm (Humane Society) rescue and she is happy to be living here and loves to go for walks!  The area is fenced to make sure she stays within the boundaries of the property.  Our hours are generally 9AM to 5PM 7 days a week.
